Bio Jim Fydroski joined both Haas Financial Services Incorporated (a
registered investment advisor) and Haas Financial Products Incorporated
(a broker-dealer) on January 1, 2003. He became an
owner/partner of the firm in 2004. When the firms became separate
business entities in 2010, Jim continued as President of Haas Financial
Services, Inc.
Jim is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner specializing in
active money management and Financial Gerontology issues. He
has authored and also edited a client newsletter since 1999 currently
writing a column in the monthly newsletter IPE Insights. His
articles range from quarterly stock market reviews to perspectives on
comprehensive financial planning. Jim has given financial
planning seminars at the Milford, Highland, and South Lyon public
libraries, Independence Village—White Lake, Henry Ford Health
System-Lakeside and at the following churches: St.
Patrick—White Lake, Church of the Holy Spirit—Highland, and St. Andrews
Episcopal—Waterford. Seminar topics have included:
Financial Planning for Your Future, Financial Planning at Any Age,
Financial Planning In Uncertain Times, and Planning for a Successful
Retirement. Jim received a commemorative plaque from the
National Association of Field Training (police) Officers for his
financial planning presentation at their state meeting. He is
the author of an article titled “Financial Planning for Cave Men and
Women” which was chosen to appear in the national journal of the
International Association of Registered Financial Consultants.
In addition to his own seminars, Jim has teamed up with area attorneys
to present seminars on Long Term Care/Medicaid Qualification and Wills,
Trusts and Estate Planning. He has taught the retirement
section of the Successful Money Management Seminars and in-house
communication skills classes for a corporate employer.
Jim’s outside interests include a 40-acre chestnut tree farm and
editorship of the Michigan Nut Grower Association News. He is
a past treasurer of the Milford Rotary Club, a former Trustee for
Knights of Columbus #13319, and also served three years on his church
pastoral council. Jim is 62-years old and resides in Commerce
Township with his wife, Cecelia.
